How we wash your bins?

Green Cleen use state-of-the-art bin cleaning equipment built by themselves to comply with all DEFRA and Environment Agency guidelines. These bin cleaning machines use hydraulics to lift the bins to the water catcher/initial filter and have high-pressure hand lances working at 3000psi and fixed rotating wash heads to clean the bins inside and out whilst collecting all water used in the cleaning process avoiding polluted water reaching our storm drain system. The water is then filtered and recycled to 300 microns as required by the Environment Agency before being downloaded at a registered drop-off point back at our depots.

A biodegradable cleaning product that is eco-friendly and regional water utility approved is used to assist the water cleansing and the washing of the bins, after which a deodoriser is applied to leave a pleasant fragrance.

All processes comply with all Environment Agency and DEFRA guidelines. We have public liability insurance, a waste carrier’s license and legal consent to dispose of the waste-water.

All Green Cleen operators have received full and approved training to ensure your bins are cleaned to the highest industry standards.
