How we wash your bins

Green Cleen only use company built state-of-the-art bin cleaning equipment which complies with all DEFRA and Environment Agency legislation. These bin cleaning machines use hydraulics to lift the bins to the water catcher/initial filter and have high-pressure hand lance and fixed orbital wash heads to clean the bins inside and out whilst collecting all water used in the cleaning process avoiding polluted water reaching our storm drain system. The water is then filtered and recycled to 300 microns before being downloaded at a registered drop-off point back at our depots.

A biodegradable cleaning product that is eco-friendly and regional water utility approved is used to assist the water cleansing after which a deodoriser is applied to the bin to leave a pleasant fragrance.

All processes comply with all Environment Agency and DEFRA guidelines. We have public liability insurance, a waste carrier’s license and legal consent to dispose of the waste-water.

All Green Cleen operators have received full and approved training to ensure your bins are cleaned to the highest industry standards.
